Dear Fatty,

I'm interesting in pursuing a career in xxxx and I really would love to come by and see how things work and speak with you about my future in xxxx. Iam hoping to gain insight into the profession and I hope you can share your working experience to lead me in the right direction. My friend and I will come by the office this afternoon if that is ok. She just decided to pursue it too. She sorta does whatever I do so..just humor her, ok?

Bethany and her copycat friend dropped in today for "career day" at the office. Some one thought it will be a good idea to send them to the OOD for advice and inspiration. As Fatty gave advice to our future leaders I couldn't help but eavesdrop to find out what little golden nuggets of information he was sharing with them. I have the distinct feeling that they didn't really get what they bargained for. But hey, at least they got to ditch class early. Good for them.

I imagine their conversation went a little something like this after they left:

The friend: Dude, that was a time waster
Bethany: I know. I thought he was never going to shut up about his wife. What the hell was that all about anyway?
tF: and the money - jeez
B: I thought we were meeting with some other guy.
tF: Yeah, me too.
B: I think I'm going to change majors. That place sucked.
tF: Totally.
B: You wanna go to H&M?
tF: Good call.
