The Kübler-Ross model describes, in five discrete stages, the process by which people deal with grief and tragedy.
- Denial: "It can't be happening."
- Anger: "Why me? It's not fair."
- Bargaining: "Just let me live to see my children graduate."
- Depression: "I'm so sad, why bother with anything?"
- Acceptance: "It's going to be OK."
V's off to a better place. Sure we'll still see each other and hang out but it won't be the same without her. I'm sorta freaking out about how I'm going to deal with all the nonsense here at the OOD. I'm not sure how I will tolerate Fatty's stupid face or the other doomers who drive me up a freaking wall.
I know, I have to be strong.
